Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has rubbished the perception that customers who invested in the embattled gold firm Menzgold are greedy.
Gold company, Menzgold Ghana owned by Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1) assured customers of 10 per cent profit on their principals invested, a contract some businesspersons alleged to be a Ponzi scheme.
The company was shut down by the Security and Exchanges Commission (SEC) last year for operating without a valid licence.
Also, the Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta in November 2018 described the clients as motivated by greed.

But in an interview on JoyNews with Doreen Avio, Stonebwoy described the customers as sane rather than greedy.
According to him, the people who invested believed in NAM1’s dream of boosting their standards of living hence critics must avoid rebuking customers.

“I do not know the INS and out of the company. It’s unfortunate and It’s not because our greed. We saw the viable company and we thought it will change the lives of people. We hope it gets solved. Let’s stay positive and stop chastising,” he said.
