General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has said the fight against corruption under President Mahama is unbeatable.
According to him, the entire corruption perception indexes released during Mahama’s tenure indicated that he is un-matched under the fourth republic.

He noted that in spite of these figures, people are still using local media to create an impression that his government was corrupt.
He also accused the current administration of allowing corruption to become the order of the day under the Akuf-Addo led government.
Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Mr Nketiah said there are records to show the bold and effective steps taken by President Mahama in dealing with corruption.

“We are now experiencing different classes of corruption and witnessing state capture where some people have decided to capture and divert state resources meant to serve citizens to serve private people,“ he said.
He added that “People are now using their positions to create monopolies to serve their personal interests.”
