Former President John Dramani Mahama says he will fix the Eastern corridor roads if voted for as the president of Ghana in the 2020 election.
According to Mr Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government will continue the construction it began on the road which had been abandoned by the Akufo-Addo led administration.

“We used the Eastern corridor roads on our way here and before we left office, we fixed the Nkwanta to Dodepepeso road while contractors had begun work on the Jasikan and the Hohoe roads but they were stopped by the Akufo-Addo administration,” he said while addressing the people and chiefs of Nkwanta South in the Oti region.
He said his administration will complete all projects started by the NDC if given another mandate to lead the country in election 2020.

“We are hopeful we are coming back in 2020 and the Eastern corridor road will be our number one priority. All our projects have been abandoned and left to rot in the bushes but we will get them back on track,” he assured them.
