Musician Kesse, born Michael Kesse Frimpong, says he got GH¢ 20.00 from the ‘Azonto Fiesta’ song which he was featured on with producer Appietus and rapper Sarkodie.
“Truth is a lot of people say ‘Azonto Fiesta’ trended because of me because a lot of people know my part than the rest of them. My part was used as an advert and a lot of people thought I gained a lot of money from the song but the truth is I had just GH¢20.00,” he told Prince Tsegah on Asempa FM.

“I didn’t sign any contract because Appietus is our father so when he calls you to feature on a song you feel you are doing it for family. It was after we did a remix with Raquel that I got GH¢500.00,” he added.
