Actor and comedian Nana Yaw Oduro Boating, popularly known as Funny Face, has dropped charges he filed against a police officer who allegedly assaulted him on set.
The assault took place on Sunday, July 21 at Kasoa while the actor was on set for his new series Kasoa Trotro, dedicated to educating Ghanaians on sanitation and road safety.
According to him, he wants peace to prevail so he’s going according to what his fans and some policemen have told him.
He said dropping his charges doesn’t mean he’s a coward. The motivation behind, he said, is his children. He doesn’t want a situation where when his children grow up, they’ll get to find out that he couldn’t forgive a police officer.

He said “I’ve dropped all charges against the police officer, I’ve nothing against him,” he added “and to you police officer, I’m dropping these charges not because I’m afraid of you, not because you’re Michael Jackson or James Bond or you’re Niki Minaj no, I’m dropping it because men of dignity have called me.”
