The Paramount Chief of the Nzema Traditional Area, Awulae Ati Brukusu III, has appealed to President Nana Akufo-Addo, to as a matter of urgency, complete abandoned roads in the area.
Awulae Brukusu, speaking at the 2019 Kundum festival, said the roads of every community are what beautifies the town, therefore, there is the need for the government to fix their roads.

Commending the President for fulfilling his promise of setting up a fishing harbor in the area, he said “we are tired of the theories and expect practicals; you have done enough for us but we want you to complete the roads that were started by the previous government.”
He added: “We want your name to remain in this town so that in future, we will acknowledge that you made our road construction possible and Axim will forever remember and be grateful to you.”

He urged the President to establish a training college at Axim and pledged to make land available for the project.
