The immediate past Director of Elections for the North Tongu Constituency and an aspirant for the position of District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Christian Afetsrom, has assured constituents that they should hold him accountable if he fails to deliver on his promises when given the mandate.
Outlining his vision for the development of North Tongu, Mr. Afetsrom pledged to implement initiatives aimed at generating income for branch executives and mobilizing resources to establish irrigation farms across all branches in the district.
He emphasized his commitment to inclusivity and good governance, stating, “I will not be an autocratic DCE because the NDC party is a democratic party.”
Mr. Afetsrom concluded by reiterating his commitment to accountability, urging constituents to demand results from him should he be given the opportunity to serve as the DCE for North Tongu.
