Veteran actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande has vehemently rubbished allegations of having any clandestine affair with Nigeria’s Senate President.
The rumors were brought to light by a notorious faceless blogger who listed her as part of a host of women allegedly romantically affiliated to the politician.
Addressing the claims, Dakore described the rumors as a “wicked lie from the pit of hell” and warned that her hard-earned reputation should not be used for clickbait.
She further expressed her disappointment and shock, claiming to have never met the politician her whole life or even had the cause to be in the same room with him or have intimate dealings with him.
She reminded her accusers of her status as a married woman with two children as she reminded of the damage such accusations could have on her family.
Additionally, Dakore announced her intention to pursue legal action against the blogger responsible for spreading the false rumors.
To prove her innocence, Dakore challenged anyone who could provide evidence of her alleged affair with the Senate President for a sum of N5million
