Ghanaian veteran actor, Albert Odartei Jackson-Davis has passed on after battling an undisclosed illness.
Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Heritage Development and a friend, Akunu Dake confirmed Albert’s demise in a post on Facebook.
Sharing a photo with the deceased, Mr Dake reflected on their strong bond and their days of working together.
“This is very difficult for me. Rest in peace my good friend and colleague Albert Odartei Jackson-Davis. Able Deputy Executive Director during our PANAFEST years in the 1990s,” he mourned.
Mr Jackson-Davis was widely known for his powerful screen performances, often portraying an elite and other high standard in society.
He starred in movies including Beasts of No Nation (2015), The Storm (2024) and My Very Ghanaian Wedding (2017), Chasing Lullaby among others.
