The gesture, according to the donors, forms part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Speaking at the ceremony, Country of Representative of Unity Link Financial Services, Adwo Odom, said her outfit’s contribution towards addressing the health challenges across the country.
She noted that addressing health challenges in the country was a collective responsibility and called on other corporate bodies to join the race.
She disclosed that unity link financial services is a non-bank financial institution specialized in money transfer.
“The supports that Unity Link Financial services give to the Ghanaian community abroad is immense. We, however, feel a deep need to let our corporate responsibility touch the lives of people resident in our motherland too, and have done so continuously for 2 decades,” she stated.
On his part, the Administrator of the hospital, Kofi Konlan, who received the items on behalf of the hospital thanked the donors for the gesture and was optimistic it would go a long way to help address their challenges at the children’s ward.
He indicated that the hospital is a very important centre in addressing health challenges and was very happy that Unity Link Financial Services has demonstrated love to the health centre.
“Looking at the items, I can see they are brand new ones for babies when they are delivered,” the hospital administrator noted.
