The Ashanti Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sam Pyne has quizzed if the purchase of numerous radio stations and the subsequent poaching of star presenters by former Finance Minister, Dr Kwabena Duffour can be said to be part of the causes of the takeover of uniBank.
Sam Pyne speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen Wednesday said he was sure lots of money could have gone into the purchase of the stations and that could have cost the former Governor of the Bank of Ghana.
“Why are people not talking about the fact that the purchasing of numerous stations by Duffour and the poaching of presenters can also be a cause of the collapse of UniBank?,” he quizzed.

And this argument, Sam Pyne does not hold water arguing that if it is also possible to argue that purchase of several radio stations and presenters by the CEO of the bank, Dr Kwabena Duffour could also be blamed for the ‘failure of the bank’.
