“Ungrateful” King Promise risks legal suit as woman who started his career goes to court

-

Iranian-born Millionaire and Entrepreneur who goes by the name, Iyasmin Behzadi, is bitter Ghanaian musician, King Promise has been ungrateful to him.

Iyasmin is alleging that she has contributed significantly towards the start of the musician’s career but has had no recognition from him.

According to Yasmin who is based in Dubai, she turned her home into a music studio for King Promise’s music career to flourish.

Yasmin said she signed King Promise who was previously called “Boy P” on her UK YB record label but King Promise has signed to a different label without her consent, acknowledging producer KillBeatz and rapper Sarkodie as people who ignited his profession during interviews.

Narrating her experience on Daybreak Hitz show on Hitz FM on Friday, Yasmine disclosed she has tried all means possible to settle the matter amicably but King Promise and his new management continue to ignore her.

“I spent over 150,000 dollars to make King Promise who he is. His name was Boy P and my team changed his name to King Promise.  I felt that he got the talent and he is still legally signed to my YB record label in the UK. I am the woman who made him and when someone helps you with good intentions, don’t be disloyal or ungrateful…,” she told Andy Dosty.

Yasmine also added that King Promise has changed all social media accounts registered to her record label, meaning she receives no royalties from the singer’s craft.

The business mogul explained that she didn’t want to take legal action against King Promise but the behaviour by him and his management has pushed her to reconsider that thought.

“I took him as a family but definitely I will take legal action because everyone in my shoes will do the same. I didn’t find my money on street. It’s hard-earned money. As at now, I don’t think I’m going to help any artiste. It’s not something I am interested in,” she said.

She also disclosed a high budget first video that was shot by her team for King Promise in Dubai when he was just up and coming.

“I shot his “No Problem” music video and it was on a high budget. When he says Sarkodie and KillBeatz made him in interviews I laugh,” she added.

All efforts by the Daybreak Hitz team to reach King Promise or his manager for a response to the allegations have proved futile.
