University of Ghana SRC President-elect, Guru, has expressed his appreciation to several prominent Ghanaian celebrities, including Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and LilWin, for their support and endorsements during his campaign.
Guru acknowledged the significant contributions made by these celebrities helped him gain traction on campus during his campaign.
In an interview on Hitz FM, he noted that LilWin and Dr. Cryme even joined him in a door-to-door campaign, which helped boost his presence on campus.
Stonebwoy endorsed him during a program at GIMPA, and Sarkodie’s personally asked his fans to support his candidacy and vote for him.
Additionally, Keche supported him by sending out broadcast messages encouraging University of Ghana students to cast their votes in favour of Guru.
While Guru doesn’t have personal contact with all these stars, he plans to express his gratitude through social media.
He remains grateful for the love and backing he received and looks forward to reciprocating the support in the future.
