Ghana is aiming for qualification to the 2025 U-20 AFCON, with matches scheduled to be held in Togo next month.

The Black Satellites last claimed the title in 2021 under coach Karim Zito but missed out on the previous edition, which was won by Senegal in 2023.

As four-time champions, the Black Satellites are keen to return to the continental scene, as this competition will also serve as qualifiers for the 2025 FIFA U-20 Men’s World Cup.

Earlier this year, the team secured gold at the 2023 African Games in Ghana after defeating Uganda.
