Police at Kade in the Eastern Region have apprehended two teenagers for their involvement in the killing of a 21-year-old man.
The deceased, Fredrick Gadlasu, a taxi driver was allegedly murdered in cold blood by one of the suspects in his room.
The prime suspect, Frema Essuman, a 16-year-old girl who is said to be a former girlfriend of the deceased allegedly inflicted him with a knife.
A resident of the area who wants to remain anonymous told journalists, the suspect, who had visited the deceased and met another girl, only known as Vida in his room, became furious, pulled a dagger and inflicted it on him.
Occupants in nearby rooms, who heard the suspect shouting for help after committing the crime sent the deceased to the Kade government hospital but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Meanwhile, police in the area have arrested Frema and Vida to assist in investigations.
