Two persons were killed while two sustained serious injuries in three different road accidents that occurred on the Kasoa-Winneba stretch of the Accra-Cape Coast highway.
The deceased have been identified as 7-year-old Jessica Tetteh, and a yet to be identified person.
The deceased died instantly after they were knocked down by two different cars at different junctions on the stretch.

An eyewitness told Adom News that Jessica Tetteh was run over by a tipper truck at Akrampa junction near Fetteh Kakraba when she was returning from farm with her mother.
The second person was also knocked down at Winton junction near Gomoa Akotsi by a Toyota Hilus with the registration GT 9240-14.
The third accident happened at Buduatta junction when a tipper truck collided with a motor bike.

Police said the bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the Winneba Trauma morgue while the injured persons are also receiving treatment at the same hospital.
