Two Health centres in Asunafo North receive toilet facilities

-

A non-governmental organization (NGO), Tim Africa Aid Ghana, has commissioned new toilet facilities to replace dilapidated structures at two health centers in the Asunafo North Municipality of the Ahafo Region.

The beneficiary towns are Ayomso and Asumura.

In an interview with Adom News, the Executive Director, Isaac Kwabena Kakpeibe, explained that patients and health workers were at risk of contracting diseases, which led to the decision to construct new facilities.

According to him, combating Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) and providing sustainable solutions for affected individuals is the core mandate of the NGO, and the availability of these new facilities aligns with that mission.

Meanwhile, Samuel Obeng, In-Charge of Ayomso Health Center, and Duah Joseph, In-Charge of Asumura Health Center, expressed gratitude to the NGO.

They shared that the deteriorated state of the previous toilet facilities posed significant health risks to both staff and clients.
