Traditional Council summons man for insulting chief

The Abofremu Traditional Council in the Ashanti region has summoned one Michael Opoku for allegedly insulting the Ankobeahene of the land, Nana Osei.

Mr Opoku, in a bid to settle his marital issues, rained insults on the chief, who doubles as his in-law in an interview on Nhyira FM’s Obra show.

Displeased by the turnout of events, the Traditional Council has summoned Mr Owusu for desecrating the land and tarnishing the image of the chief.

According to the messenger of the Council, Mr Owusu’s allegation is equal to slander, hence should not be left unpunished.
