Total South Africa, following the renewed xenophobic attacks in the country, has decided to halt operations till calm is restored.
In a statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Marian Kane-Garcia, total said the decision is to ensure safety of its employees and facilities.
“Total South Africa takes the health and safety of its employees very seriously and apologises for any inconvenience caused as we work to remedy the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible.”
