He said this as a rebuttal to the many media reports blaming his sector for the president’s comment on the Dzamefe Commission during the Presidential media encounter.
The President in an answer to Adom Sports Presenter, Patrick Osei Agyemang on whether he had interest in the government white paper on the report said he had “forgotten” about it.
The President’s answer has drawn criticisms from followers of football, especially from sports journalists who blame the Ministry of Youth and Sports for not giving the President adequate briefing hence the Minister’s response.

“We are on top of issues and we are very much aware of the Dzamafe report on the 2014 World Cup fiasco”, he told Asempa Sports.
“There are several aspects of the Commission’s reports that we have taken very seriously but some aspects of the reports are under litigation so we need to respect the court and wait for the outcome”, he added.
The Dzamafe Commission was established following the negative fallout from the Black Stars’ campaign in the 2014 Brazil World Cup tournament.
