Three teenage sisters in Texas allegedly attacked their mother with kitchen knives after she turned off the Wi-Fi, according to authorities.
The siblings, aged 14, 15, and 16, “coordinated a plan to try and kill” their mother, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez stated.
The incident occurred on Sunday night in their Houston home, where the girls allegedly grabbed kitchen knives and chased their 39-year-old mother into the street.
One of the teens reportedly threw a brick, striking her mother’s ankle, while their 70-year-old grandmother was knocked over while trying to intervene.
Despite the attack, the mother and grandmother did not sustain serious injuries, the sheriff’s office said.
The three sisters were arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. They were booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.
