Thousands show up for NDC’s mega walk in Kumasi [Photos+Video]

The streets of Asawase in Kumasi turned into a vibrant sea of red, green, white, and black as hundreds of energized supporters gathered for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) “Mega Walk for Victory.”

The event was a significant show-off by the opposition party in what is traditionally seen as a stronghold for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Organized as part of the NDC’s efforts to galvanize support ahead of the upcoming elections, the walk started early in the morning, drawing the party’s loyalists from across the region.

The walk was spearheaded by the Member of Parliament for Asawase, Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka, alongside other executives including Okudeto Ablakwa.

Addressing the crowd, Ablakwa reiterated the party’s vision to become a much bigger empire while expressing gratitude to the the constituents for what he termed an intimidating victory walk.

The party is confident come December 7, John Mahama and a majority of NDC MPs shall be victorious as they reset Ghana and create concrete opportunities for all citizens.
