Thousands have gathered at Tamale Jubilee Park for the official national campaign launch of the main opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The party aims to use this launch to energize its grassroots and members, spreading what they describe as a message of hope and restoration.
The NDC’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama will lead all party executives, founding fathers, members of parliament, and past government appointees in unveiling their 2024 campaign messages and strategies.
Adom News’ Kwame Anum who is with the team, reports that the event has received good patronage so far, with many youths, elderly people, and traditional leaders eager to hear the NDC’s messages.
