This is the best food to have after sex, according to studies

After getting hot and heavy with your partner, you probably managed to burn many calories. So, what do you do next? Fuel up your body and share a meal post-sex. While there are foods that fuel up your sex drive and make you perform better in bed, there is one particular food which is the best and the most preferred meal post-coitus, a new study has revealed.

Can you take a guess what it is? Hint: It is cheesy and you can have slices of it!

It’s PIZZA!

The study According to a study conducted in America by a social media company, pizza is the best food to have after sex. While there is no denying the fact that the famous fast food item has many takers worldwide, there is a solid reason why pizza is especially the go-to menu option after a session of getting intimate.

The reason? People are more likely to form connections or form strong sexual bonds with someone who has the same food liking or preferences as them.

The organization surveyed around 2000 millennials who claimed to be sexually active. Talking about what they liked to do after sex, most of them lowered it down to eating and then came the response of pizzas. Coming close to pizza was tacos and then ice-creams. Only a few people in the survey preferred something healthy like a salad.

46% of the people involved in the study who voted yes to pizza said that they felt more attracted to their partners when they had the same taste as them. People were also twice as likely to hit it off with potential partners if they shared common food liking.

The study also made a very interesting observation. More than the food, it was the food habits which turned people off post-sex. The research highlighted that if potential partners chewed loudly or ate with an open mouth, it repelled people away. In fact, the habit was found to be more repulsive than other “unhealthy” habits like eating junk food or drinking too much.

This goes on to support the fact that post sex (or after enjoying an intimate moment), people were more likely to enjoy comfort foods than something healthy and thus, junk food gains more takers.
