The founder of the All People’s Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga is confident he will win the December 7 election and be sworn in as the next president.
According to him, nobody will win if he doesn’t, stating there will be a re-run.
“If I don’t win the 2024 elections, then nobody will win. The poll will go for a second round and I have the potential to win the elections,” he stated in an interview on Accra-based Citi FM.
Mr Ayariga asserted there is a demand among Ghanaians for a third force and he stands a chance to break the duopoly of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He has therefore appealed to Ghanaians to vote for him.
“The Ghanaian people keep saying they want change and they do not want the NPP and the NDC but they are adamant in making that change. They will tell you that when I vote for Hassan Ayariga, he won’t win. Says who?
“You voted for John Dramani Mahama in 2016 and he didn’t win and you voted for him in 2020 and he didn’t win, so how sure are you that he will in 2024? It is because you believe that when you vote for him, he will win so believe in the aspect of voting for Hassan Ayariga and then he will win,” he added.
