A joint military and police team from Ghana and Togo has arrested over 170 suspected criminals in an anti-terrorism swoop along the Ghana-Togo border and some selected areas.
The exercise, dubbed the ‘Kondaulgou operation’ aimed at preventing terrorism, illegal resource extraction , drug trafficking, dealing in illicit arms, smuggling and other transnational crimes.
This was announced in a statement signed by the National Security Minister, Albert Kan-Dapaah.
