The Ghana Report has launched its first-ever Jobs and Entrepreneurship Fair, scheduled to run from September 19th to October 5th, 2024, at the Independence Square and Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
The event, aimed at tackling Ghana’s rising unemployment, was officially launched at the Kempinski Hotel, Accra.
Speaking at the launch, Group CEO of I-ZAR Group, Rashida Saani, highlighted the fair’s commitment to transparency, emphasizing a “no protocol list” policy in recruitment.
The fair also offers rapid skills training and a 3-tier funding scheme for innovative business ideas, covering areas such as CCTV installation, solar panel installation, fashion design, STEM, and more.
Renowned business leaders will also deliver talk sessions on entrepreneurship, innovation, and the future of work.
The Youth Employment Agency’s Corporate Affairs Director, Emmanuel Kwasi Afriyie, praised the initiative, encouraging participation from job seekers and employers alike.
