The Tema NDC Youth Groups have refuted allegations that they are planning a demonstration against the appointment of Mr. Kwasi Darko Asare as Managing Director of the Tema Development Corporation.
In a press release dated February 5, 2025, the youth groups described the claims as baseless and politically motivated.
They asserted that the misinformation is being spread by elements within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and does not represent the position of the NDC.
The statement emphasized their support for the appointment, stating that they are committed to working with Mr. Asare to promote progress in Tema.
They urged the public to disregard the false claims and focus on unity and development.
The group reaffirmed its stance on fostering initiatives that benefit the community rather than engaging in protests.
