It has emerged that suspect, Sam Udoetuk Wills, a Nigerian accused of kidnapping three girls in Takoradi has refused to corporate with police investigators.
He has also refused to reveal the whereabouts of his victims, putting police in a fix.

He told Captain Smart on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem Wednesday that the situation had led to wild protestation from residents of Sekondi-Takoradi over the inability of police to locate the kidnapped girls.
Official police figures put the number of missing girls at three.
Residents of the Western Regional town of Sekondi-Takoradi say seven girls disappeared from their homes under strange circumstances.
A Nigerian, Sam Udoetuk Wills, believed to be one of the people behind the kidnapping of the girls was re-arrested after escaping from police custody.

However, none of the people he is thought to have kidnapped has been found.
According to Kojo Yankson, parents of the kidnapped girls are questioning police’s handling of the case.
Kojo Yankson also reported that a victim’s father had a call from the kidnappers but the police but received no proper attention from the police when he informed them.

In the case of the arrest, “The police never informed the victim’s parents that the suspect had been arrested till recently,” Kojo reported.
According to him, police have never visited families of the kidnapped girls, five months after the girls went missing.
He also reported that one of the girls who returned home after three days has been showing signs of mental instability.
