He emphasized that choosing the appropriate leader would foster peace and contribute to the community’s development.

Professor Ahenkora appealed to the kingmakers to consult historical records, royal family documents, and the Kwahu State Book to guide their decision.

This appeal comes after a recent disruption during the Twenedurase chief’s funeral, where thugs halted proceedings and vandalized canopies, chairs, and decorations.

Professor Ahenkora strongly condemned the violent act and called for calm, stressing the importance of unity and adherence to due process in resolving chieftaincy matters.
