Speaking in an interview on Beat FM, Tiwa revealed that a man once gifted her a Range Rover for her birthday, but she chose to return it because she wasn’t interested in him romantically.

“I got a Range Rover on my birthday, but I had to return it because I wasn’t feeling the guy,” she admitted.

“I didn’t want to lead him on, and I was scared that if I didn’t entertain him, he might want it back. That wouldn’t look good for my image.”

Tiwa also jokingly remarked that her stance might be different now because she has matured in the industry and has had for worse scandals.

“If I receive such a gift now, I’ll accept it and wouldn’t care about the consequences. If they want it back, I’ll call security on them,” she laughed.

When asked about her type of man, the “Somebody’s Son” singer shared that she prefers Nigerian men over French men.

She added that she likes them dark, tall, slender, with no muscles

Her candid revelations have since sparked conversations online, with fans applauding her honesty and sense of humor.

In a video posted on July 29, 2024, Salma was seen at the port overseeing the arrival of her vehicles.

She was shown receiving a white Range Rover being driven out of a container and inspecting a Tesla Model S.

In the video, Salma mentioned her plans to acquire a Tesla Cybertruck next.

The display of wealth stirred mixed reactions among netizens.

While some praised her success, others expressed scepticism and questioned the source of her wealth.

One social media user commented, “Salma Mumin released a brand new Range Rover and Tesla Model S on the same day… she’s going for the Cybertruck next. Do people really have that kind of money?”.

On her birthday on December 5, Jackie opted for a laid-back look, donning a white Jil Sander t-shirt paired with cargo trousers.

Her flawless makeup complemented the ensemble, and she accessorized with stylish bracelets.

The renowned actress carried a yellow bag, holding her two iPhone Pro Max smartphones.

Jackie Appiah took to social media to share the purpose behind her visit.

She expressed her commitment to supporting the victims of the Akosombo dam spillage in Mepe.

As part of her initiative, she personally trained 120 people in various vocational skills, including makeup artistry, tie and dye making, hairdressing, metalwork, baking, among others.

Grateful for the success of the project, Jackie Appiah extended her appreciation to all the brands that contributed to its realization.

The seasoned actress embarked on her journey to the Volta Region in her white Range Rover.

Shatta, who turned 38 yesterday, October 17, was gifted a customised Range Rover by the CEO of an automobile company whose services he has been patronising.

The gift was presented at his glass house where he was hosting his birthday party.

This is the second Range Rover he possesses alongside some 13 others including a Mercedes Benz S550, G- Wagon, Porsche Panamera, Chevrolet Camaro, Toyota Land Cruiser and others.

The controversial Dancehall King entertained his fans with an electrifying performance for his invited guests at the intimate ceremony.

To appreciate Ghanaians for the well-wishes, he has made his online-hailing ride, Shaxi free from Monday to Wednesday. All rides come at absolutely no cost.

The driver of the car, who is one of Portable’s associates, was running errands when the sad event happened.

Portable’s manager, who confirmed the incident to The PUNCH, noted that the victim died after he was rushed to the hospital.

His manager, named Theresa, confirmed,

“On their way going, maybe the bike man thought that Portable was the one driving or they wanted to collect money or whatever, but the man drove to the vehicle. That was how they hit the man.

“They called me. I left where I was with Portable. We went there. The guy that drove the car rushed the man to the hospital. I got to the hospital and transferred N25,000 to them.

“They said N20,000 was for treatment while N5,000 was for X-ray.”

She noted that when she got to the hospital, the bike rider was complaining about pains on his back, noting that his two female passengers were unhurt.

The manager continued, “When I left the hospital, I gave them another N8,000 to take a cab to where they were going to conduct the X-ray. Immediately I left there, I reported to the Divisional Police Officer and the Commissioner of Police.

“I called DPO Sango and DPO Ifo to explain what happened. After 10 minutes, they called me back from the hospital that the man had given up.

“When I got the call, I had to call the boy that was in the scenario to go to the station to report himself. He is at the station as I’m talking to you like this.”

This would be the third time Portable’s Range Rover has been crashed in just a month. He believes the situation is spiritually backed.

Portable had last week welcomed a child with his lover, Feranmi, and the naming ceremony of the child was scheduled for Tuesday.

According to him, he has decided to always appreciate the real ones in his life hence feels it’s apt for the mother of his three children to enjoy his birthday with him.

Aside from his baby mama’s surprise, D-Black also disclosed he has gifted himself an S550 Mercedes Benz as a birthday gift.

The car was reportedly stolen as the singer was pumping gas into his car.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Akon stopped at a Quiktrip gas station to fill his white Range Rover up with gas. He left the car running with the keys inside the vehicle, so he could fill up the gas tank.

Before he was done, however, he noticed someone taking off with his car, which held valuables, including a $25,000 diamond necklace, a Louis Vuitton bag and his iPhone.

Akon called police, who arrived at the gas station at 11:59 p.m. He told authorities that a dark-colored sedan followed his SUV when it made a right onto Sidney Marcus Boulevard. Surveillance footage of the theft confirmed his account.

A police report stated that the video showed the sedan as it pulled into the station right next to Akon’s SUV.

“Shortly after, you can see the suspect get out of the passenger seat of what looks to be a black, four-door BMW sedan, get into the driver’s seat of the victim’s vehicle and drive off with the black BMW following right behind,” the report read.

Since his phone was left in the vehicle when it was stolen, Akon reportedly used the FindMyPhone app to track his phone and find his car.

He was first led to Lawton Street in southwest Atlanta, but when police went to that location, they were unable to find it.

The second time around, after the app determined the vehicle was in Forest Park, it was recovered by the Forest Park GA Police Department and returned to Akon on Tuesday morning (May 25). 

No arrests have been made in connection with the theft of his car.

Davido purchased a brand new Range Rover for his first fruit who turns six this month.

This is coming barely two days after Davido left Nigeria for the United States over claims the current administration is making life unbearable for him.

Gasmilla also said he doesn’t like to drive, adding that, it is another reason he opted for Uber’s ride-hailing service.

Car itself… my stepdad used to say it’s a necessity but I think the ability to move is rather a necessity, not a particular car model. I like to be driven.

But, if I can’t have that and I can have a mini and it’s an Uber, that’s cool. We worry ourselves sometimes. We have to live our lives. The people praise you for only one day after getting a new car the rest is up to you, he said.

The move became necessary when social media brought to Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA)’s attention of two cars bearing the same number plate.

Nana Aba, after she was made aware through an official letter by DVLA that she stands a 12-month jail term, quickly rushed to register her gift.

She opted for the registration number N 1-20 which has thereby given her the opportunity to cruize without restriction in her ‘controversial’ Range Rover.
