Man on the run after sending ex-lover’s nude to church’s WhatsApp group

The Lagos state police command is on the trail of a businessman, Amarah Kennedy, for allegedly circulating nude photos of two widows he dated and had sexual relations with.

According to Punch, the widows in search of love, found the accused on different WhatsApp and Facebook chat groups for singles at separate times and began having relationships with him.

Trouble started when they fell out and he allegedly began circulating their nudes to their relations, offices and friends. He also sent the photos to the WhatsApp platform of the church of one of the victims identified simply as Kester.

The suspect allegedly went the extreme of sending the photos to her late husband’s family members and office.

“By the time I am done, suicide will be her only option,” Kennedy is alleged to have dropped such message in the church’s WhatsApp platform.

The issue was reported to the police by Kester in a bid to deter the suspect from making further contact.

Kester, who lost her husband about eight years ago in a car crash, told media men that the businessman, after chatting her up, started showering her with monetary gifts.

She said after a disagreement, he sent her over 50 of her nude photos which he secretly took after their lovemaking in a hotel. She said the suspect demanded N100,000 from her as a condition to delete the photos.

The mother-of-two noted that despite sending the ransom, the suspect made an additional demand, which she sent to him.

Kester said despite the payments, the suspect went ahead to circulate the photos on Facebook. The distraught widow said she attempted suicide twice but failed, and her reason for sharing her ordeal is to mitigate the disgrace.

The suspect is currently on the run as police have launched a manhunt.

Veteran actor cries out after being blackmailed with his nudes

Celebrated actor, Raphael Niyi, has exposed a plot of a blackmailer threatening him with his nude videos.

The actor, who said he has no idea how the said person got possession of his video, said the blackmailer has been bugging him since three days ago.

The perpetrator is demanding for N800,000, after which he promised to delete everything. Failure to receive the money, he threatened to send the videos to Mr Niyi’s wife and pastor.

However, he revealed in a self-taken video that he has informed his wife of the development, and they have reached the agreement not to pay a dime to the blackmailer.

The father-of-two revealed he is not a person to succumb to threats and has ordered the person to go ahead and publish his nudes.

“He has been bombarding me with messages and requesting for money. In my line of work anything can happen; I do videos, I make calls and all that if by an act of commission and omission you happen to get my whatever and you now request money on it, I don’t think it will happen to me.”

Though he said he has the situation under control, the celebrated Nollywood thespian said he is by the video sending an alert to his fans not to be caught unaware when his videos are leaked.

He shared screenshots of his conversations with the blackmailer, whom he said has been texting him with multiple African numbers, as evidence of his claims.

Mixed reaction as Princess Shyngle puts n*de body on display

Ghana-Gambian actress and entrepreneur, Princess Shyngle, has fed the eyes of her 995k Instagram followers.

The actress, in a latest post she shared, put her nude body on display while dancing seductively.

But for a tiny black pant she wore and her hands covering her raw breast, she would have given her fans a ‘free show’.

Despite attaching nudity to her brand, some of her followers have described the post as obscene and an image unworthy to be in the public domain.

Others have drooled over her hour-glass figure and her bouncing backside as they energise her with love and fire emojis.

Instagram community regulators have taken the side of the naysayers as the post has been taken down for violation.

The post has been described by an expression of disrespect to others and a breach of adult sexual solicitation guidelines.

Princess Shyngle has fumed against the community regulators for taking down the video she claims is better than many others have shared.

“Really IG ?? I’ve seen people posting worst and y’all didn’t take down their post,” she wrote.

A scandal has rocked former housemate of Big Brother Naija Season 6, Ikechukwu Sunday, better known as Cross, as his nude video has gone viral.

25-year-old man arrested for blackmailing lady with her n*des

The police in Ogun state, Nigeria, have arrested a 25-year-old man, Adetoro Kazeem, for blackmail and extortion.

Mr Kazeem was arrested following a complaint by one Gloria Ogunnupebi, who reportedly received messages from a foreign number via a voice note on WhatsApp.

According to the Divisional Police Headquarters, Madam Ogunnupebi reported that in the month of May 2021, she received the first call demanding for money for her nudes to be deleted.

Though she was oblivious of how the said nude landed on the phone of the blackmailer, she is said to have transferred a sum of N200,000 naira.

‘She stated further that to prevent the caller from exposing her to moral and public ridicule, she sent the said amount to him, with the hope that everything is over. But surprisingly, the person continued demanding for money from her every two weeks, and that he has extorted her up to the tune of seven million, three hundred and sixty three thousand, nine hundred naira.

She explained further that she decided to report when she got tired of the continuous extortion and started contemplating suicide.

Upon the report, the DPO Obalende Division, SP Salami Murphy, mobilised his crack detectives to go after the suspect.

The detectives embarked on intelligence and technical base investigation, and they successfully traced the suspect to his hideout in Ibadan Oyo state, where he was apprehended.

The Commissioner of Police, Edward Awolowo Ajogun, who commended the detectives for a job well done, has ordered an in-depth investigation into the past activities of the suspect with the view to charge him to court as soon as possible.

Popular Nigerian vlogger dares blackmailers to publish her nudes

Popular Nigerian vlogger, Toke Makinwa, has dared those threatening to release her nude photos, to do so.

The social media influencer dared the scammers on her Instagram account, @tokemakinwa, on Tuesday.

The radio personality and television host, accused some people of trying to use the situation of the country to blackmail others.

Toke Makinwa declared that she had no money to give the individuals behind the threat.

She wrote: “Is this really how low we’ve become? I understand that things are hard, I get that feeding off each other and scamming people will be on the rise but I’ve never and would never negotiate with con artists/scammers.”

“I am sharing this ahead of your threats to release these edited/false images cos this is disappointing, this is not humanity, there is a pandemic killing people and there are also certain human beings wanting to exploit people in a time when we should all spread love and kindness.”

She advised the scammers to stop sending their “bloody emails.”

The author added that she would not bow to any form of intimidation “not yesterday, not today, not ever.”

Ghanaians, especially teenage ladies, have been advised stop taking nude photos of themselves.

Head of Cyber Crime Unit of the Ghana Police Service, Chief Superintendent Gustav Hebert Yankson who gave the advice on Adom FM’s morning show, “Dwaso Nsem” Friday said those nude pictures could end up being leaked on the Internet.

Two students have appeared before an Accra circuit court for allegedly publishing nude pictures and videos of a 14- year-old girl on Instagram – a social media platform.
They are Desmond Appleton and Elvin Boakye Agyeman Nana Kofi.
They have been charged with conspiracy to commit crime, procurement, possession and publication of child pornography.
Both have pleaded not guilty and the court, presided over by Mrs Abena Oppong Adjin-Doku, has admitted them to bail in the sum of GH¢50,000 with three sureties, to reappear on August 29.
George Asamaney, counsel for the accused persons, who described the incident as unfortunate, prayed for bail for his clients.
According to him, his clients were on police enquiry bail and that they (police) had requested for some orders to enable them complete their investigations.
Prosecuting, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) C.K Abadamlora said the complainant is a 14-year-old junior high student residing at Laterbiokoshie, Accra.
According to DSP Abadamlora, Appleton is a friend of the complainant and victim in the matter.

The prosecutor said during the month of January this year, Nana Kofi visited the victim’s school to sell T-shirts and befriended her in the course of the sales.
The prosecutor said Nana Kofi started chatting with the victim on Instagram.
In the course of their communication, Nana Kofi convinced the victim to send him her nude videos and photographs.
After obtaining the pictures, Nana Kofi sent them to Appleton. In April this year, Appleton also began chatting with the victim and asked her to send him more of her nude photographs and videos through Instagram else he would release what he had obtained from Nana Kofi online.
Out of fear, the prosecutor said, the minor took 10 shots of herself and gave them to Appleton.
In order to cut the communication between her and the accused persons, DSP Abadamlora said the victim refused to install the Instagram application on her phone.
On July 16, this year, the victim’s mother had a call from the victim’s teacher indicating that her daughter’s nude pictures were on two websites.
When the victim was quizzed about the matter, she confirmed what had transpired between her and the accused persons.
A complaint was lodged with the Cybercrime Unit of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service and during investigations, the accused persons were arrested.

Outspoken Lawyer, Dr Maurice Ampaw says he will personally walk to the Police Station to call for the arrest of both Christabel Ekeh and Wanlov the Kubolor.
According to him, it is only right that the police arrest them for their public display of nudity — the same crime that both Rashida and Wisa GrEid are being prosecuted for.
Speaking to Dave Hammer on Hello FM entertainment review, the Lawyer explained that once Rashida has been arrested, he sees no reason why Christabel or Wanlov shouldn’t be arrested since they were all involved in indecent public exposure.
He added that maybe the police are “enjoying” Christabel’s nude pictures because of their failure to arrest her only equals to selective justice which shouldn’t be tolerated.
In response to why Christabel Ekeh hasn’t been arrested yet, he said
“I don’t know why she hasn’t been arrested by the police yet. I think maybe they’re enjoying her nudes because I don’t know why they should arrest Rashida.
Then I think they should also release Wisa because we shouldn’t tolerate selective justice. What’s wrong is wrong, Rashida is a citizen who was guilty of the law and she be prosecuted likewise Wisa.
So the police must arrest Christabel — from Monday going, I’m going to the Police Headquarters to demand the arrest of Christabel immediately else they should stop the prosecution of Wisa and leave Rashida alone. MANASSEH’S FOLDER: Rashida black sheep and the Boko Haram feminists

Back in the primary school, I learnt that a black sheep is an expression used to refer to “a member of a family or group who is regarded as a disgrace to it.” The expression is derived from the 18th-century proverb, “There is a black sheep in every flock.” And the meaning has not changed even in this age of weird manifestation of feminism.
Now that I have been able to convince the expert faultfinders and the sincerely ignorant critics that I am not literally calling somebody’s daughter a sheep, let me go on and attempt to convince the feminists that I have no problem with feminism.
The dictionary defines feminism as “the advocacy of women’s rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes.” Men and women or boys and girls must be treated equally and given equal opportunities to explore their God-given potentials. So I have no problem with feminism. Neither do I have any problem with those championing this noble cause, feminists. I agree with Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie that we should all be feminists.
My beef, however, is with the Boko Haram feminists. You can also call them Al-Quaeda or ISIS feminists. I mean the extremists, the fundamentalists who have stretched the concept of feminism beyond its sane limits. Here, I am talking about the apostles of waywardness whose defence mechanisms is to find justifications for their own moral deficiencies by hiding behind feminism to promote lifestyles that generally are unacceptable in their societies.
In fact, feminism is like Christianity. Christianity is a good religion. We have the true prophets and preachers who are shaping the world with the spiritual and practical application of the Word of God. We also have the conmen, who use the gospel to steal, kill and destroy the very people they are supposed to save. Both groups profess the same Christian faith and wield the same bible.
I believe in feminism, but my main point of departure is when they now want to tell us those sane women who strip naked and put their photos on the internet are making feminist statements. Even when it is clear that the person is doing that purely for money or may be going through some psychological problems and need help, the feminists want us to believe they are confident and love their bodies.
I have just read a disturbing article written by a Ghanaian radio and television presenter called Anita Erskine, in which she described the teenager whose naked video went viral on social media last week in similar terms.
“You are extremely bold and confident. You love yourself. You are way bolder, confident and true to yourself love than some of us were at your age and even are in our adult life,” Anita Erskine wrote in a supposed letter to Rashida.
Rashida, a basic school dropout, got social media attention last year when she released a distasteful video of herself. The video was full of insults directed at her ex-boyfriend. She did not spare her ex-boyfriend’s mother and mocked his albinism. In that video, the teenager boasted about her sexual prowess and said when she met the guy, she was the one who taught him how to have sex. This suggests she was even sexually active before she met him.
Views on the video were varied. Some people thought it was distasteful and condemned the content. Others, however, thought they should let her live her life. It wasn’t anybody’s business.
A few weeks later, that video was nominated for Jigwe awards organized by the defunct Ghanaian entertainment television channel, Viasat 1. The award is aimed at celebrating people for things on the lighter side of life. Rashida was nominated for the most viral video of the year award.
Truth be told, there was an obviously most viral video that was ignored. It was actor Kwadwo Nkwansah’s “I can’t think far” video. Pastors used the phrase. It was repeated in many other funny videos. And it was the toast of politicians, including former President Mahama and his vice, who used it on campaign platforms. This video made the waves for many months, as opposed to Rashida’s offensive video, which circulated for a couple of weeks and died down. But the organisers decided to call the vulnerable teenager on stage and celebrate her as a star. On that stage, she repeated the “F” word she used in the video. Her prize was an investment package worth 2000 cedis. For? Insulting and boasting about her sexual prowess.
Again, opinions were divided. While some chastised the organisers of the award for encouraging such waywardness by celebrating her, others mounted a strong defence. They claimed there was nothing wrong with making her a star because it would help her launch her career. They even said God had a way of lifting people up and that was her blessing. Others who urgently needed to see the curer of sick heads even accused the critics of being envious of Rashida’s celebrity status and sudden rise to fame.
At the time, I was against the celebration of such waywardness, especially because the person involved was a child who did not seem to know what she was doing. In an article I published on the matter, I said:
“Rashida is not a star. She’s not a celebrity. She is not a role model for young girls in her community. Let us not convince them that the best way to get to Accra and be on TV is to have sex and flaunt it or to master the art of verbally abusing others. Rashida is a deviant who deserves our sympathy, not our praises.”
Her supporters seemed to have convinced her otherwise. They managed to convince her that there was nothing wrong with her behaviour. Some, I am told offered her local movie roles, and there is a commercial on a yet-to-be-premiered TV series in which she is featured. But it seems those who encouraged her to interpret notoriety as popularity have also succeeded in making her think that she could do more to be famous.
Last week a video of Rashida surfaced on social media again. This time around, she was not insulting anybody. She recorded herself naked making suggestive moves, with houseflies singing praises and worship to her womanhood.
As usual, the video has been widely condemned. But you have others who are still mounting subtle defences. They are calling the critics hypocrites because the likes of Kim Kardashian do it for money so why should they have issues with this girl?
Some are also attacking people are condemning the girl. Do they want her to be praised? They should get this clearly. The society will praise what is praiseworthy and condemn what is condemnable. Those who say they will do whatever with their bodies and nobody should judge them need to put a little amount of thinking into what they say and profess.
You can do whatever you want to do with your body and your life in as much as it does not fall foul of the law. That is if you want to disregard the biblical admonishing that “all things are permissible but not all things are helpful.” You can decide to be sleeping around with men or women of your choice. It is your body.
While you can do whatever you want to do with your body, you cannot control or dictate to society how they should see you. Society can see you as a harlot or a womanizer. You have no control over that.
Zuweira Baba Mohammed is a teenage girl just like Rashida. Her performance at the just-ended National Science and Maths Quiz was exceptional. Apart from winning the competition’s prize specially made for the best female contestant, some people believe she was the most outstanding individual performer even though her school could not make it to the finals.
What Zuweira achieved is positive. Society approves of it. Some even thought she was not praised or celebrated enough. She comes from the part of the country, where educating girls is not a priority. She competed in a competition in which the subjects are considered the arena for boys. But she sat through and proved her mettle. Just like, Rashida, Zuweira has sex organs. But she decided to show the world her brains, not her vagina.
In so doing, she has sent a strong message to girls who are growing up and thinking that Science and Maths are meant for the boys. She has sent a message that a girl can rise and compete among boys and excel. All things being equal, girls like Zuweira will grow up and become the medical doctors, engineers, scientists and some of the enviable profession we have in the world. They will get well-paying jobs and would not have to be at the mercy of men who will treat them like trash because the women are dependent on them for everything.
If Anita Erskine wants to know girls who are bold, and confident, then she should use the likes of Zuweira as the examples. If she wants examples of how girls can be empowered she should project girls and women who are holding up their own against their male counterparts. There is nothing “extremely bold and confident” about displaying one’s sex organs in the media. It is commendable she wants to help Rashida but that’s where it should end. It is irresponsible to sing her accolades from the shameful video.

Ghanaians unanimously condemned the controversial musician, WanLov Kuborlor when he showed his genitals on TV. That fleeting display is not anything near Rashida’s explicit indecent exposure. Another male Ghanaian musician called Wisa showed something on stage that looked more like a forefinger than a penis. It is unclear whether to call it manhood or boyhood, but he also attracted a wide and unanimous condemnation from both men and women. The police arrested him and charged him with the appropriate offences.
Why should it be different with women? A few weeks ago, actress Christabel Ekeh sent the internet community talking when her naked photographs were released. What makes Rashida’s case worse is because she is a minor.
Nobody is saying Rashida does not need help. She needs help. But you cannot help someone who is told that there is nothing wrong with her. Anita Erskine claims she wants to help the girl, but how do you help someone turn away from something negative if you praise them for that same negativity? The best thing to do is to rebuke the girl and correct her.
Tell her what she has done is not good. Tell her she is ruining her future. Let her know that the fact that she has done that does not mean she is ruined forever. She can get her life back and be a better person if she stops doing what she’s doing.
If we had made this girl understand last year that she was wrong and that society disapproved of what she had done, she might have probably changed. But those who celebrated her urged her on. Anita Erskine and others were in the country, what did they do? She has moved from bad to worse and they are still singing her praises. Maybe, such people need more help than what they are offering Rashida.
Those who are quoting Jesus Christ ignorantly to attack those condemning the actions of Rashida should realize that society does not want to kill Rashida as those in the bible wanted to kill the prostitute. And Jesus did not, in anyway, endorse the actions of the prostitute. He said, “Your sins are forgiven. Go and sin no more.”
He reached a conclusion that what the woman had done was sinful. The woman agreed that what she had done was sinful. And because she agreed that what she had done was wrong, she was willing to repent.
Jesus did not say, “Woman, this is your body so you can choose to do whatever you want to do with it. Don’t mind those hypocrites who wanted to kill you; they are worse than you.” He made her realise she was not doing the right thing and, therefore, the need to change.
If Rashida were my daughter or sister, I would not disown her. I will rebuke her sternly and help her to reform. I will not tell her that what she has done is a trivial mistake which everyone else does.
I will let her know that what she has done is a disgrace to womanhood and defeats the fight against those who see women as sex objects. I will tell her that the internet does not forget.
I will tell her that she can become anything she wants to become but things such as what she is doing will come back to haunt her. I will tell her that if Zuweira Baba Mohammed wants to run for public office in the future, her brilliance at the 2017 National Science and Maths Quize can be played as part of her campaign message and she will sway some intellectual votes.
I will tell her that if she, Rashida, wants to run for a similar office, her naked videos in 2017, with flies hovering around her vagina will be played and shared by her opponents and that can affect her chances negatively. Society does not forget and forgive some sins easily.
This is the reality the Boko Haram feminists need to confront when they think nudity is a synonym for feminism.

Black Beauty Rashida slapped and patted for nudity

Rashidatu Mohammed alias –Rashida Black Beauty, has caught a number of lips including women in the media and communication’s industry with her nude video, which has gone viral.
While some thought she needed help and that her actions were a reflection of society’s failure, others felt it was a deliberate act so she must
take responsibility for her action.
During the 2016 Jigwe Award, Rashida Black Beauty won Viral Video of the Year award with her Kushmai recording.
Not everyone lauded her winning the award and also expressed disdain about the organisers.
“The organisers of the award are the kind of people destroying the moral fiber of this country” said a lady who spoke on the condition of anonymity.
The discussion was on the WhatsApp platform for Alliance for Women in Media, Africa.
“I don’t think she has good people around her. Her manager only seemed interested in getting his hands on the money people offered her to help further her education,” another interviewee said.
One Rhema noted that society had failed people like Rashida by reducing popularity and fame to nudity and indecency.
Afua observed that “without controversy a decent hardworking person doesn’t trend”.
“You cannot do decent diligent work and make it in Ghana. Looks like you have to be dubious to have it work out for you. She is a product of our society, a reflection of our system,” Efe Plange, Founder of Sankofa Reviews said
Another said discussions should revolve around depression and its management however the discussion which started off about the welfare of Rashida Black Beauty turned into a critical look at what possibly contributed her actions and the consequences of her action on today’s generation.
It also triggered concerns about the role of media in promoting sexual indecency and the growing trend of sex tape leaks: “Social media sets the pace now”, “traditional media must be up and doing”, “We have to blame ourselves most media houses now pick their news bulletin from social media, lazy journalism”, comments from the page said.
The media is not setting the agenda right or maybe journalists are no longer setting the agenda.
If the media is truly setting the agenda and is supposed to work in the interest of the people in a professional practice then discussions around video leaks will be steered in a more healthy direction.
It’s great to have divergent views, the discussion grew more interesting.
“And why shouldn’t they? It’s a story? She’s a human being who deserves to be heard and seen.
That oppression of women’s bodies is the reason we have her. Let her have her agency!” someone replied.
“She would have trended and ended on social media, but we brought her to national attention through the power of television and radio,” Dela said.
It is true the penetration of radio and television in the country cannot be compared to that of the internet.
Again not everyone who uses the internet is on social media so less harm could have been done if the trend ended on the social media.
Just when the discussion got to its peak, Rashida Black Beauty posts on her facebook page, “Hello Ghana, I am sorry and I regret my actions, there is a lot of explanation to this video but I guess the harm has already been done so no one will be willing to hear what I have to say or tell them.
All I want to say is I regret my actions and I hope Ghanaians do forgive me… Thank you!”

A family member of controversial actress Christabel Ekeh says they are aware that society frowns on acts of nudity but they allowed her because of career.
In an interview with Joy News’ MzGee on Showbiz This Week, Adu Twumwaa, who is the aunt of the actress said her niece is not mentally ill as most people are saying.
Her comments follow the controversy and public backlash a few days after the actress released photos of herself posed nude.
There were lots of talk about Christabel Ekeh not being mentally sound and needing psychological examination.
But Twumwaa said the nude photos circulating on social media was aimed at an advocacy against plastic surgery.
“We know that society frowns on that but when people started saying that Christabel was mentally ill, it made us go wild. We know it’s a career she has chosen and we allowed her?”
“Christabel is not ill,” she added.
The sister of Christabel, Tabitha revealed that she took off her the actress Instagram page because she has access to her page but did not know what was going on when the pictures were uploaded.
But entertainment pundits have questioned this assertion. Earlier, the actress had told MzGee, a different story about how the Instagram page was pulled down which is different from Tabitha’s.

Although actress Christabel Ekeh and her family say her nude pictures which have been making rounds on social media for the past week is introducing the “new Christabel” and advocating for women to embrace their body types regardless, her mother, Madam Emma Odoom insists Ghanaians pray for and with her daughter.
In addition to that, Madam Odoom is pleading with Ghanaians to stop insulting, calling her daughter names and talking about things they do not know about.
According to Madam Odoom, there is nothing mentally wrong with her daughter and that Ghanaians should pray and rally behind her so that whatever she is doing, will be successful instead of trolling her on the Internet.
“I think people should pray for my girl instead of circulating her pictures online. I wonder what they hope to achieve by doing that. Why would they engage themselves in things they know nothing about?
Christabel is working and she needs our love, support and prayers to succeed,” she said in an interview with Showbiz last Saturday.
“My daughter is a very decent girl, she was brought up well and cannot do anything she knows will tarnish her image. She is not sick and does not need any psychological treatment or help as people are saying out there,“ she added.
“I can only say that, as a mother, I should support my children in anything they do, I need to love them and pray that whatever they touch would go well. That is where my fulfillment lies,” she noted.
When asked if she personally thinks, it was appropriate for the Before Noon actress to take such pictures in the first place, Madam Odoom said, “like I said earlier, it is work related. She is a model too and sometimes due to the nature of their work and who they are in society, they need to take on some campaigns and loving your body is one of them” she said.
Since she said people do not really know her daughter, Madam Odoom was asked to describe Christabel Ekeh and this is what she said, “Christabel is the first of my three children. She is very cool, intelligent, loving and respectful.
She is kind and is very passionate about the things of God, which is how I brought her up.”
“Her siblings look up to her and she disciplines them when they go wrong. She uses the least chance she gets to spend time with them, advising them to take their education serious and grow to become society changers,” she added.
Christabel Ekeh has been criticised and lambasted since last week for releasing more than 18 nude pictures of herself on an Instagram page that bears her name.
While some of her fans believed her account was hacked, others took to social media to express their disappointment in the Potomanto actress for posting such photos.
The hacking ascertion was later debunked by the actress herself who says displaying the nude pictures of herself on social media was a way of introducing to the world the “new Christabel.”
Christabel who has Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother, came into the limelight at the age of 17 when she participated in the 2008 edition of Miss Malaika Ghana beauty pageant where she came second. She later followed it up with a modeling and acting career.
She has featured in movies like Peep, Potomanto, Before Noon, College Girls, Afia and Friends, The Battle, Sweet Mistake, Wrong Target and a host of others.

Madam Emma Odoom, mother of Nigerian/Ghanaian actress Christabel Ekeh has stated that her daughter is a very decent girl and that she does not need any psychological treatment as a section of Ghanaians are suggesting.
The actress weeks ago released her nude photos on Instagram which got people asking if she is ‘sick’ or her account has been hacked.
But her mother has jumped to her defense saying her daughter’s job sometimes demands that she goes naked.
“My daughter is a very decent girl, she was brought up well and cannot do anything she knows will tarnish her image. She is not sick and does not need any psychological treatment or help as people are saying out there. She is a model too and sometimes due to the nature of their work and who they are in society, they need to take on some campaigns and loving your body is one of them,’ she told Showbiz.
Madam Emma called on Ghanaians to pray for her daughter instead of bashing her and releasing her nude pictures on the internet.
‘“I think people should pray for my girl instead of circulating her pictures online. I wonder what they hope to achieve by doing that. Why would they engage themselves in things they know nothing about?,’ she asked.
She said her daughter needs Ghanaians’ prayers and support in her career advising them to desist from tarnishing her daughter’s image through trolling.

All efforts to reach Christabel Ekeh, family hit a snag – Actor’s Guild President

The President of the Ghana Actors Guild says all efforts to reach one of the Guild members Christabel Ekeh over speculations of mental imbalance have proven futile.
Sammy Fiscian who was obviously distraught over the situation explained that all attempts to reach the actress or any family member have yielded no results.
Speaking to Joy News’ MzGee he said, “We’ve been trying to reach her without success. The contact we had which was supposed to be for mother and we haven’t been able to get through to her. We seem to have hit a wall.”
According to him, the one person who may have helped the Guild with contacts to the actress or her family also has her phone off.
He also believes that other people close to her who may be in the position to help with contacts are shying away and refusing to get themselves involved in the issue.
Actress Christabel Ekeh who has starred in movies like ‘Potomanto’, and ‘Love or something like that” earlier this week posted nude pictures of herself on her social media page and justified it by saying it was a way of “welcoming everyone to the new me.”
This action coupled with what some have described as eyebrow raising behaviours of the actress in recent times have compelled the President of the Actors Guild amongst many others to believe that the Ghanaian and Nigerian actress may be mentally challenged.
“We are of the view that she is challenged mentally and so if we are able to get through to any of the family members especially the mother, we would be in a better position to do see what we could do,” he said.
In as much as the Guild is eager to do what it can to help salvage the situation, Mr Fiscian insisted that they may not be able to do anything without the concern of the actress family thus the need to reach them at all costs.
He pleaded with the general public who may have any information or contact with the family to come forward to help the Guild with information.
