The late actor, who was a key figure under Dr. Likee’s mentorship, thrived alongside rising talents like Kyekyeku and Opoku Bilson.

His passing, following a long-standing health condition that worsened in his final days, left the Kumawood film community devastated.

Speaking during an interview on Angel FM, Stonebwoy stressed the significant contributions Dr. Likee has made to the industry, urging colleagues to pray for him.

“The way he is and the things the boys say about him show he is a special human being. I plead with everyone not to fight him but to pray for him instead because people like him are special. He is unique, just like Agya Koo. Every season and every era have their stars,” Stonebwoy remarked.

Using a football analogy, he added, “It’s like a football team—someone can be the captain, but if you take out the goalkeeper or the number 9, the team isn’t complete.”

Stonebwoy also took the opportunity to console the family of C Confion, a Kumawood actor who recently passed away after battling an illness.

He expressed his condolences and solidarity with the bereaved family.

“I strive to remain humble and connect with everyone I meet. I don’t consider myself superior to anyone. Every person I encounter could offer me an opportunity, so I make it a point to stay grounded,” Likee explained in a recent interview.

He disclosed the importance of humility to his team, urging them to adopt the same approach.

“It’s crucial to remember that the people who support you are the ones who elevate you. Without their support, you wouldn’t be where you are. They invest in watching your content, so it’s important to respect them and never act as if you’re above them,” he added.
