According to him, he never slapped Angel Town. He said he did everything he could to save the heated situation.

Prior to Sarkodie launching his ‘Black Love Virtual Concert’, which took place at the Independence Square, reports emerged that Stonebwoy had pulled a gun on Sarkodie’s manager after a little misunderstanding.

The news travelled far with many blaming Stonebwoy because of his earlier VGMA brawl with Shatta Wale where he was equally accused of brandishing a weapon.

But, reacting to the allegations on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz show, Stonebwoy denied assaulting Sarkodie’s manager like it was reported to the police.

MORE:

That weekend if I wasn’t a strong person, my family will have been like wow… these were gun accusations levelled against you… it was heavy on the media saying you’ve assaulted someone… and nothing like that happened.

Come on men, I didn’t assault anyone…, he said.

When Stonebwoy was asked, did you pull a gun?, he further replied, which was the most awkward of it.

Stonebwoy told Andy Dosty, this tells me that its deeper than that because the eyewitness was making more cases on top of  a complainant case which was coming from the same complainant’s camp.

The Bhimnation President insisted that he tried all he could to solve matters amicably with Sarkodie on the event grounds but the rapper drove off without saying a word to him.

I went through a lot and it thought me a lot and henceforth I can only be careful with how I deal with our fellow brothers. It’s been calmly resolved… due to Angel who I am still very cool with…

I felt disrespected highly, the communication had lapses which triggered everything.

I wanted to stay and make sure we are cool… we were in the inner perimeter with the realisation that I won’t perform.

When Sarkodie came eventually, we were told to exchange pleasantries which I think I wasn’t supposed to do… the witnesses were there, Prince of Buk Bak was there…Sarkodie left without saying a word. He didn’t mind me, he looked at my face and move on… when I still followed him to settle matters, he drove on.

But he met me and Angel being cool. If I had any ego reasons, I would have left but the next two days when was it became a police case. Out of love, sh*t does happen, I won’t take it hard but this is the real deal.

The rapper says it’s too early for him to open up on what truly led to the brawl between Angel Town and Stonebwoy.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM on Monday, a day after his Black Love Virtual Concert took place at the Independence Square in Accra over the weekend, Sarkodie said his manager was still recovering from the incident.

Angel is fine. Yes, he has taken the bandages off, he was supposed to keep it for like three hours, he said.

Stonebwoy and Angel clashed at the Independence Square on Wednesday ahead of rapper Sarkodie’s Black Love concert.

Why Sarkodie didn’t stream Black Love Concert on Facebook, Youtube [Audio] https://www.adomonline.com/why-sarkodie-didnt-stream-black-love-concert-on-facebook-youtube-audio/ Mon, 17 Aug 2020 12:53:44 +0000 https://www.adomonline.com/?p=1841746 Celebrated Rapper, Sarkodie has given reasons why he chose a different platform from popular social media platforms such as youtube and facebook for his Black Love concert streaming.

Sarkodie has explained that he opted for CEEK.com, a platform for virtual reality performance, noting the platform streams better than Facebook, Youtube and Instagram.

According to Sarkodie, apart from the speed of the platform, it is owned by a Ghanaian lady, hence partnering her would be for the good of the country.

“CEEK is a platform that I chanced on and I thought it was interesting because they are into virtual reality. It is like they had a tip-off COVID was going to come. They were ten steps ahead of time and the platform is very big.”
