Swedru SHS student who returned missing purse lands internship opportunity

Jeffery Ebo Arhin, a student of Swedru Senior High (SHS), who has been celebrated around Ghana for returning a missing purse he found, has earned an internship opportunity with a reputable credit union.

Additionally, Jeffery has received a GH¢1,000 cash gift for his loyalty and honesty.

The headmistress of Swedru SHS, Golda Esi Andam, disclosed this in an interview on Prime Morning on Joy Prime.

Madam Andam, who could not hide her joy, stated that she has received various calls, with more opportunities pouring in for Jeffery after his video went viral.

She noted that Jeffery will receive donations at the school’s assembly grounds to motivate his colleagues.

Jeffery and another student returned the purse, which contained GH¢200 and some coins.

Initially, they were rewarded GH¢30 by the school, sparking mixed reactions on social media.

He revealed that some friends mocked him for returning the purse.
