Below is the tribute:
TRIBUTE BY SON ERIC DUAH
Mummy, I feel that words are inadequate what you meant to me. Mama Lizzy as you were affectionately called, the mother of nations, my mother, what a privilege I had to be your biological son.
Words cannot heal the pain of losing someone so dear. She was my everything, friend, Advisor, Mentor and teacher; above all she was sold out to the work of her maker. A true prophetess.
A woman of principle was my mother, a no-nonsense person, a disciplinarian, but above all she would show you much love. She impacted many and would teach you what will take you closer to the Lord.
Mummy took care of my every need and always encouraged me to be kind and God-fearing. She always instructed me in the tenets of the Christian faith. She always quoted her favourite verse in the bible which is Hebrews 9:27. “It is appointed unto man once to die, after death judgment “. So I should live a life worthy of emulation.
Mummy, I would be forever grateful for your love, care and support you gave me and those around you.
Even when you didn’t have much, you made sure to share the little you had with anyone who needed it.
You have not only impacted my life but the lives of many who came into contact with you. You are indeed a mother of nations.
Mummy, fare thee well.
Mama Lizzy Rest in Perfect Peace.
