Head coach of Aduana Stars, Yusif Abubakar, has urged supporters of the club to throng to the Oseadeyo Agyeman Badu Park on Wednesday to cheer the team on.
The Dorman-based team will face Libyan side Al Tahaddy in the second leg of the ongoing CAF Champions League.
The “Ogya boys” suffered a 1-0 defeat in the first leg and despite a spirited display, failed to grab an equalizer.
Aduana now have a huge task on their hands as they look to overturn the deficit against their opponents.
Speaking to the press, coach Abubakar called on fans to support the players even when the going gets tough.
“I expect the supporters to support us throughout the game; they should stay behind the team even when the going gets tough”.
“We the coaches and players want to leave a legacy so that one day our names will be written in the good books of Aduana Stars”.
He also pleaded that, “if the players are unable to get goals within the first five to fifteen minutes, the fans should be patient and continue cheering rather than hoot at them or insult them”, he added.
