Famous Ghanaian high-life musician, Nana Kwame Ampadu credited with many popular high-life tracks, has joined the list of celebrities present to mourn veteran actor Asonaba Kweku Darko, popularly known as Super OD.
The High-life musician who is also an evangelist with over 800 songs to his credit extended his condolences to the wife and family members of the famous actor.
In an interview with Adom TV at Super OD’s one week memorial in Agona-Abodom, the renowned musician said “OD died in peace; he was very funny. I loved his movies. It was God who called him. His death was natural” he said.Super OD’s one week celebration (16)
 
The actor died at the age of 84 leaving behind 13 children and a wife.
Super OD, started acting in the 1970s and gained national prominence in the 1990s for roles in popular series, Akan Drama on Ghana Television.Super OD’s one week celebration (14)
He was part of the Oppong Drama Group which later became known as Osofo Dadzie Group.
