The Bulk Oil and Transportation (BOST) has warned pro-National Democratic Congress (NDC), to put a stop to the culture of publishing defamatory contents about the company.
BOST in a release copied to Adomonline.com said it will not hesitate to take ‘the necessary steps to protect its corporate image’ if the newspapers do not stop such publications.
The Herald, The Informer, The Daily Post, The Ghana Palaver, and The Republic were named in the release as the press houses that had the penchant for publishing the false contents.
“It has come to the realisation of BOST, that the practice whereby stories are published about the Company without checking the real facts is becoming rampant.
“For example, these Newspapers, The Herald, The Informer, The Daily Post office in their 20th December, 2017 editions and the Ghana Palaver as well as The RepublicRepublic in their 19th December, 2017 editions published some of these untruths,” the release said.
These publications, BOST said ‘tend to be defamatory’.
BOST further stated that their doors are opened and hence urged all media persons to ‘crosscheck information with us.’
The company, the release signed by Corporate Communications and Media Relations Managers, warned ‘will not hesitate to take the necessary steps to protect its corporate image’
