Stop comparing your regime to Nkrumah’s gov’t, fix the mess – Mahama tells NPP

-

Former President, John Mahama has responded to comparisons between the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) regime and the erstwhile Nkrumah’s government.

He has called on the NPP to focus on addressing what he describes as the unprecedented economic mess they have created.

Speaking at La Bawaleshie and Mempeasem in Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Mahama said the country is facing economic challenges that need urgent attention, rather than engaging in comparisons.

During his working visit with his team, Mr. Mahama engaged constituents of Ayawaso West Wuogon and discussed proposed solutions with chiefs and residents.

Addressing the gathering, he urged the NPP to concentrate on fulfilling the mandate and expectations of Ghanaians.

Mr. Mahama also criticized what he referred to as the ruling regime’s propaganda against him in 2016, asserting that similar tactics would not be effective in the upcoming elections.
