Stonebwoy ‘attack’: Okraku Mantey calls on Ashaiman residents to protect image

-

President of the Creative Arts Council, Mark Okraku Mantey, says people of Ashaiman need to change their attitude towards events.

He gave the call on the heels of the recent alleged attack on Stonebwoy’s wife Doctor Louisa Satekla.

She was alleged to have been injured in a knife attack at her husband’s ‘Ashaiman to the World Concert’ on Saturday night.

In the early hours of Sunday, reggae dancehall artiste Stonebwoy took to his Facebook page to announce that there was an attempt on his life from some unknown assailants who stuck a knife through the tent that housed him backstage before his performance at the concert.

He also stated in the post that his wife, Dr Louisa Satekla suffered a cut in the process and was rushed to the hospital.

Reacting to the reports, Mark Okraku Mantey, who is also the CEO of Slip Entertainment, cautioned the natives of Ashaiman to try and protect their image.

Okraku Mantey who was contributing to a conversation on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM with KMJ, said; “the people of Ashaiman, I think it’s about time they change because, the fact that it happened in Ashaiman doesn’t mean that an Ashaiman person did it.

“It is about time the people of Ashaiman protect their name and their image because whatever somebody does, it happened in Ashaiman.”
