Stephen Ntim Campaign Coordinators have not resigned – Campaign team

-

The campaign team of National Chairman aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Stephen Ntim, has denied claims that three campaign coordinators of their candidate have resigned.

A statement making the rounds indicate that they had resigned owing to an unpleasant action taken by Mr. Ntim. He supposedly went on radio according to the purported statement and jabbed President Akufo-Addo, the leader of their party; the NPP, a move that peeved the said campaign coordinators.

“Earlier in Our Campaign, Mr. Ntim ill-advisedly went on radio and in the process taking on the President of the Republic and the leader of the party. The NPP has come afar in relations to rancour, in fighting and the effect it had on the party’s unity and the peace.

The NPP is now a united party. It was therefore ill-conceived for a person seeking to become the National Chairman of our great party to be openly casting insinuations on the President and Leader of our party. We do not want any division in our party, and if whilst seeking to become National Chairman Mr. Ntim can take on the President on radio; we shudder to think what he will do when he has sat in cabinet, where he will have access to vital information to run down the Government,” parts of the earlier statement read.

But in another statement dated June 11 and signed by the Campaign Manager for Stephen Ntim, Kofi Kapito, he completely rubbished the claims, indicating that opponents in the race for the chairmanship position are using calculated attempts to detract and cause sheer disaffection for their candidate.

He added that “for the record, all the campaign coordinators in the three northern regions are in place and have not resigned as stipulated. These Coordinators are as follows Angela Akurgo for Upper East, Siita Angaamwine for Upper West and Alhaji Fuzzy for the Northern Region.

THE REGIONAL CAMPAIGN COORDINATORS FOR NTIM IN THE THREE NORTHERN REGIONS HAVE NOT RESIGNED:

The attention of the Stephen Ntim Campaign team has been drawn to a statement purported to have been issued by the Regional Coordinators of Ntim in the three Northern Regions to the effect that they have resigned from their post.

For the record, all the campaign coordinators in the three northern regions are in place and have not resigned as stipulated. These Coordinators are as follows;

1. Angela Akurgo for Upper East – 0248688202
2. Siita Angaamwine for Upper West – 0244924642
3. Alhaji Fuzzy for the Northern Region – 0244713278

It is noteworthy that these hardworking Coordinators have been spearheading the affairs of the campaign in their respective regions for the past three months, and any key follower of Ntim in these regions, can attest to it.

We are hereby calling on the entire NPP fraternity and the delegates especially, to ignore any such statement from any group or individuals calling themselves Coordinators for Ntim in the three northern regions.

Let it be known, that these are calculated attempts by our detractors to cause sheer disaffection for our candidate. However, every keen observer of the political landscape around this time, should not be surprised about these machinations.

The good news is that our opponents have come to understand that the only way to make any meaningful impact in the upcoming election is to destroy the winning candidate’s good name.

Certainly, Stephen Ntim is poised for victory come July 2018 due to his selfless dedication to the course of the NPP over the years, and surely, his track record in the party is as ever progressive as the commendable performance of Ghana’s economy since the NPP took over the reigns of power.

Indeed, to the dismay of his detractors, Chairman Ntim is astonishingly prepared to make NPP stronger for victory 2020 and beyond. He will also ensure that every constituency has a well-furnished party office for party work within the next four years of his Chairmanship.

He has also put in place a well thought out welfare package for the executives and this will be implemented immediately the delegates give him the nod.

We are thus assuring our teeming supporters that the campaign is on course and victory is beckoning.

Time Asoo Time Aso!!!
