The Chief Executive Officer of Bechem United Football Club,Prof.Nana Kwasi Darling ,has stated emphatically that Club administrators in this country together with the Ghana Football Association(GFA) are uncertain if the 2017/2018 Premier League will commence as scheduled.
His statement contradict the FA’s claims that the calendar for all competitions in Ghana football for the next three seasons is ready and will kickoff as planned.
Speaking on the midweek edition of the Ultimate Sports Show, Mr.Kwasi Darling said “Almost all the club administrators including the GFA president are in doubt if the league will start as scheduled”.
The FA’s Executive Committee has already approved a three season calendar which includes upcoming CAF Inter-Club matches, the Ghana Premier League, the MTN FA Cup, Division One League, Women’s Competitions and GHALCA tournament.
The calendar also includes upcoming international matches for the various national teams.
However, with CAF restructuring its Inter-Clubs competitions, the calendar may be updated further to accommodate such changes.
