President Nana Akufo-Addo has urged Ghanaians to check what they eat on a daily basis following his observation that many citizens are obese.
The President made this call when talking about the state of Ghana’s health sector at the 2020 State of the Nation Address on Thursday, February 20, 2020.
“As the nation has made progress in eradicating communicable diseases that used to be the main cause of mortality, we are in danger of falling into the lifestyle disease trap,” he said.
