However, on Saturday, a 35-year-old security guard who worked with Scanfarms Ghana Limited who tried driving away some cattle that were grazing on a Sorghum farm was butchered in the process.

The Agogo District Police Commander, ASP James Jerry Ameka, in an interview with an Accra-based radio station, confirmed that a team of military officers will join to help stabilize the situation.

“Those areas are predominantly Konkombas so we met the opinion leaders and the Odikro this afternoon and we had a meeting with them assuring them that they should have confidence in us and that we are still around,” he explained.
