A junior nurse who was sacked from her job for doing Facebook live while on duty is cursing her stars.
Trudy Ewurama Marcel said she is now a public ridicule after her Facebook live video went viral.
She and her colleague whose name was only given as Ramatu were sacked by the management of Royal MMR Hospital for taking to Facebook while on duty.
The two took to Facebook in a six-minute video that went viral after Adom FM had shared it on its Facebook wall.
Following the video’s public appearance which attracted a lots of comments over the misconduct of the nurses, the management of the hospital became shocked and appalled that the two nurses “chose to do Facebook live while at work and responded to comments at the expense of patients who were waiting to seek health care.”
The management after an emergency meeting sacked the duo from the workplace.
Weeks after the incident, Trudy Ewurama Marcel is yet to recover from what she described as ‘public shame’.
In an exclusive interview with Kofi TV, the embattled nurse said her life is shuttered after the incident.
“A lot of people are happy about what has happened to me. My mother even told me people in my house laugh at me when they see me” she bemoaned.
Trudy Ewurama Marcel who is currently unemployed has vowed not to take her mobile phone to work should she be employed by another hospital.
