Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale has once again asserted his dominance on the international stage, winning three major awards at the 2025 International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) in Florida, USA.
The event, which celebrates outstanding reggae and world music talents globally, saw Shatta Wale emerge as one of the biggest winners of the night. He took home awards for Best Crossover Song, Best African Dancehall Entertainer, and Best Music Video.
His collaboration with Jamaican dancehall icon Bounty Killer, Commando, earned him the Best Crossover Song award. The Best Music Video award went to his high-energy visuals for Killa Ji Ni, praised for its unique concept and top-notch production quality.
For the fifth consecutive year, Shatta Wale was crowned Best African Dancehall Entertainer, reaffirming his position as the face of African dancehall.
