I want to do a collaboration with Shatta Wale – Samini

Ghanaian Reggae and Dancehall recording artiste, Emmanuel Andrews Samini, known by stage name Samini has disclosed he was very surprised when fellow Dancehall Champion, Shatta Wale joined him on stage during 2016 ‘Saminifest’ musical concert.
Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, accepted a challenge and hinted that he might be the surprise act at the 2016 Saminifest musical concert hosted by Samini.
True to his word, on Saturday, December 3 in front of hundreds of patrons who crammed the Trade Fair Centre, Shatta Wale was the surprise act.
Speaking on Joy FM on Friday, the ‘Odo’ hit maker disclosed that he would perform with Shatta Wale again to portray the peace Ghana needs as a country with regards to musical feuds.
He explained that, after years of a never-ending beef, Shatta Wale did apologize and set a mark that will forever remain in his memory lane.
“I will sing along with him. He surprised me. He apologised to me. Showing up on set [Saminifest], that was a surprise. He did make a mark and it helped the street calm down.
“It was an election year. We wanted to maintain power. We needed a unified system. He really did great…I think he deserves my response. He knocked well. I don’t think anyone deserves my response now if they bring beef,” he disclosed.
“High-Grade family and Shatta movement stands as a family and not war…” he added.
The CEO of High Grade Family indicated the beef between them wasn’t planned hence the reason they resorted to a truce that can maintain calmness on the streets during the 2016 presidential polls.
He further advised Ghanaian musicians to plan ‘healthy’ beefs to prevent overboard lyrics. ‘You can’t say curse words to win a battle, well credible artistes are better with beefs.
It should be done in a healthy fashion; musicians can guard their lyrics…” he advised.
