Shatta Wale has lashed out at his ex-fiancee, Michy after she publicly recounted the abuses she was allegedly subjected to while in a relationship with the Ghanaian dancehall singer.
Michy in a yet-to-be aired interview with EwithBecks also claimed that her engagement to Shatta Wale at his Reign concert in 2018 was staged because he abused her same day.
She said; “You don’t propose to someone and then you torment them after. Right after the proposal, it got worse, it got unbearable, those are the only words I can use.
“I cannot leave my room today without saying a prayer or reading a verse in my Bible. And I now understand when people say when you walk with God, you must walk in confidence.”
She further revealed that no one should be surprised if she eventually becomes a Pastor as the abuses she was subjected to by the singer drew her closer to God.
“I have achieved quite a few goals, personal goals like getting closer to God. I just want to be very honest with myself because I did not know about the proposal on that day. Don’t be surprised if I become a pastor one day,” Michy told Becky.
Shatta Wale, who reacted to Michy’s allegation via Snapchat, accused her of courting public sympathy on the internet. He also advised her to focus on making money and stop listening to her friends who he said wanted to have a romantic relationship with him.
