Host of U Sey Wetin show on Hitz FM, Prince Tsegah aka Da Don has asked Ghanaians who aren’t fans of Shatta Wale to desist from saying the dancehall act is a local champion.
According to him, this is the right time to push Ghana’s music beyond the borders, hence the pull-him-down syndrome should stop.
Shatta topped trends on social media yesterday after it was reported that he had a song with Beyoncé on the ‘Lion King: The Gifted’ album.

Da Don, reacting to this on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, monitored by Adomonline.com, said it was “phenomenal” because Beyoncé is an international figure who thought it right to choose Shatta Wale because of his large Shatta Movement fan base.
According to Mr Tsegah, who is also the Public Relations Officer of Ghana Music Rights Organisation, Shatta Wale must work harder to prove his works to put Ghana on the world map further.
